Pancake Day Race Review and Photos

I made it to two of the Pancake Day Races in London this year: Rehab UK Parliamentary Pancake Race and The Inter-Livery Pancake Race. The Rehab UK Parliamentary Pancake Race was a quick affair, lasting only ten minutes. And there were so many press photographers they got in the way of the spectators! The Inter-Livery Pancake Race went on for about an hour but had lots of well-organized races with heats, semi-finals, and finals. An excellent Master of Ceremonies presided over the event and kept us all informed of the competitors in each race and the winners - plus any rule breaking. I will admit, I didn't fully understand what was going on and I have contacted the organizers to try and learn more. For now, enjoy my photos of the Inter-Livery Pancake Race.
