Chinese New Year Celebrations in London

The National Portrait Gallery is celebrating Chinese New Year today (Saturday 17 February 2007) with a range of activities including storytelling, mask-making, and special dance performances.
Chinese Tales and Stories
1pm, 2pm, and 3pm
Hear enchanting tales of the Year of the Pig. Drop-in session, no ticket required.
Opera Mask-Making
11.30am, repeated at 2.30pm
A chance to make and decorate your own special Chinese opera mask. Tickets required and available on the day from the Information Desk in the Main Hall. Suitable for children aged 5+ and their carers.
Dance Performances
3.30pm
A chance to see three traditional Chinese dances in the Main Hall.
