Legible London Exhibition
Friday November 17, 2006
Have you noticed when walking around London that the signposts are not all the same design? Sometimes they will match for a small area but it can be confusing as it seems like lots of different people telling us the way.
Legible London aims to make it easier to walk in and around the capital by developing a coordinated "wayfinding system" to serve Londoners and visitors alike.
London currently has 32 different signpost designs for pedestrians so the Legible London exhibition is exploring what works and the options for signposts in the future. They want your opinion so head on down to The Building Centre before 25 January 2007.
To give you an idea of the craziness of London's current signposts, check out the Sign Spotters section of the Legible London web site.
