Canary Wharf Ice Rink Opens

Canary Wharf Ice Rink opens tomorrow (Saturday 18 November 2006) and remains open till 18 February 2007. They have lots of events planned including a 12-hour Skate-a-thon today to launch the skating season.

On Thursday 11/12/08 friends of mine and I waited more than one hour to skate at the Canary Wharf ice rink and finally couldn’t either skate or get a refund. A poor person badly fell more than one hour earlier that evening and they just let her lying on the ice for ages. No customer service at all, total lack of professionalism and lack of safety as obviously, if you fall while you’re skating, you can lay there forever. DON’T GO THERE!!!
