So You're Stuck in London...What You Can Do
Thursday August 10, 2006
Following the foiled terrorist attempt you may well be staying in London for an extra day (or two). Don't despair, make the most of it.
- I've just had to rearrange my tickets for the Houses of Parliament Tour for another day so I bet there are lots of spaces available today. Tours are on from 1.15pm-4.30pm.
- And why not see Buckingham Palace? If you're here for a few more days, you can go back again as they have an Unlimited Admission option, at the same price.
- Or, as it's not so hot today, take a walk along The South Bank. You could take a ride on the London Eye...
- If you need some calm after all the travel disruptions you've had to deal with then head for one of London's museums or galleries. I would recommend Tate Modern if you have decided to walk along The South Bank, or the Museum of London if you are near Liverpool Street. Or head for South Kensington and you've got the Natural History Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum.
