London's Heatwave

London has been experiencng some really hot weather so be prepared. Today is set to be about 30 degrees C (that's about 90 degrees F) so be sensible. Don't stay out in the sun unnecessarily. Today's news warning is that the very young and very old are most at risk of dehydration, so make sure everyone in your group is drinking lots of water. Don't think about getting on the tube without a bottle of water - there's no air-conditioning down there, and it's not unheard of for there to be tube breakdowns because of the weather. Enjoy London and look after yourselves. Thunderstorms are due by Wednesday (5 July 2006).
