Routemaster Buses – Heritage Routes
Monday May 15, 2006
The double-decker Routemaster buses in London are certainly a design icon. These are the buses where you could jump on and off at the back and a ticket inspector sold you a ticket onboard from a ticket machine hung round his neck. Sadly these classic machines went out of general service at the end of 2005, but don't despair, they're back for two heritage routes. These are popular routes past many of the great London landmarks, such as Trafalgar Square and St. Paul's Cathedral. Find out more about the Routemaster Heritage routes.
