FA Cup Final
Friday May 12, 2006
The FA (Football Association) Cup Final is tomorrow (Saturday 13 May 2006) at 3pm at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium as Wembley Stadium was not ready in time.
The FA Cup Final is the traditional final domestic fixture of the football season, apart from the Football League’s play-offs. 13 May was chosen this year to allow for FIFA’s four week break between the end of all major domestic seasons and the start of the World Cup. The FA believes it is crucial to allow the national team to be given equal preparation time to every other team competing in Germany.
We do love our football (don't call it soccer!) in London so get to your local pub early to grab a good seat and soak up the atmosphere.
