National Cheese on Toast Day Launches in Leicester Square!

Today (Thursday 27 April 2006) is the UK's first National Cheese On Toast Day. Lancashire cheese producers will rename Leicester Square 'Lancashire Square' for the day while they produce the world's largest cheese on toast with 11 square meters of bread and 9 kilos of Lancashire cheese! Toast samples will be handed out and you can enjoy cheese-making demonstrations. All activities will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
