Mobile Phones on The London Underground

A two-month feasibility study is underway to assess putting mobile phone transmitters at four London Underground stations. Transport for London have worked to alleviate our safety concerns and plan to convince us that better communication in an emergency can only be a good thing. I agree, but I'm not looking forward to the day the phones can be heard on the Tube. It's a saving grace of the Underground system for now that we get a few minutes peace away from the cellphones!
